Tradition of the textile industry in our city comes back to the 17th century. Residence of our company is in the place where from the year 1905 was textile production - spinning mill, winding dept., knitting mill. In 1961 we started development and production of knitted fur, what means we are company with the longest tradition in our country. In 1977 the production programme was spread by the Jacquard knitted fur (possibility of difficult designs and many colours), and later by the electronically directed Jacquard machines.
The company BONEKA is private Czech company, which was founded by privatization of the state owned company Bonex at 1992. We are biggest producer of knitted fur and plush in Czech Republic.
In Czech Republic our registered trade-mark Bonekan® became synoym of the fake fur.
